Suzanne Mariucci

Hi, thank you for taking a minute to visit our website and the opportunity to help you understand a little about my design philosophy.

My passion for design began as a child, when I collected photos from home magazines and refinished antique furniture.  My love of interior design was validated when a personal home remodel won the Better Homes and Gardens Award in 1996. My dream became a reality and I officially started my design business in 2005. Then in 2011, my husband, three kids and I moved to La Jolla where I continued my love for design.

I am diligent about gaining a thorough understanding of all projects so I can transform clients’ needs and desires (even when clients aren’t sure themselves) into reality with beautiful and functional designs that are unique reflections of each client.  Every project is completely personalized – I am averse to a universal design approach.

My personal design style is an expression of the casual, natural backdrop of southern California.  Fabric textures and patterns...custom furniture design and creation…kitchen, bathroom, family room redesign…outdoor space...the perfect piece of original art... just the right accessories.  I know that I am incredibly blessed to be able to realize my passion every day, and I never take it for granted.  I intentionally pour love into every element, every decision and every client.

What am I into?

  • My family, of course

  • My dogs...all dogs, actually (don’t tell my dogs)

  • Cooking – I am a foodie, a vegan foodie to be more specific

  • Beautiful sunsets, mountains, the ocean

  • Skiing

  • I am a huge sports fan

  • I declare myself a groupie of the band Better Than Ezra after seeing them 10 times.

  • Really bad reality TV!
